Welcome to the Irresistible Church Self-Assessment

Jesus was irresistible. His message was irresistible.

People who were nothing like Jesus liked Jesus, and he liked them back. We believe every community should have a church like that.

This assessment is not meant to be exhaustive; instead, it is crafted around strategic practices aimed at reaching unchurched people. We operate on the assumption that in your teaching, you are already properly discerning the Scriptures, engaging in diligent exegesis and hermeneutics, and ensuring that your illustrations and content faithfully convey biblical truths. We also presume that the core mission of your church is centered on making disciples. It's important to note that this assessment does not replace or diminish the transformative role of the Holy Spirit in people's lives. We fully acknowledge our church's responsibility to create environments that attract people to Jesus, understanding that the Holy Spirit is the agent of life change.

Additionally, we recognize that the church is the body of Christ, with Jesus Christ as its head, and its members are those who have placed their faith in the finished work of Christ. The primary purpose of the church is to glorify God by both loving him and making him known to the lost world. This assessment operates under the assumption that when designing churches to attract and engage unchurched people, our goal is to remove unnecessary obstacles, enabling people to follow Jesus and grasp his gospel of grace more clearly. Our aim, as the body of Christ, is to maintain a gospel-centric approach that collectively reflects Jesus. Finally, we trust that your church is already in a posture of prayerful dependence on God, fully relying on his guidance and intervention in your ministry efforts.

How well is your church designed to engage unchurched people and inspire them to follow Jesus?
